[Dossier 2024] Entwicklungslinien der Betrieblichen Sozialen Arbeit in der deutschen Schweiz. Positionierung und Legitimierung im Wirtschaftssystem

Abstract

Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit der historischen Entwicklung der Betrieblichen Sozialen Arbeit in der Schweiz bis in die 1980er Jahre. Es wird zum einen die Frage verfolgt, wie und aus welchen Gründen die Betriebliche Soziale Arbeit in der Schweiz entstanden ist. Zum anderen wird danach gefragt, wie sich die Betriebliche Soziale Arbeit in verschiedenen historischen Phasen legitimiert hat und wie sie ihren Zuständigkeitsbereich reklamierte. Aus systemischer Sicht ‹dockt› die Soziale Arbeit an ausdifferenzierte primäre Funktionssysteme an, um die dort auftretenden, spezifischen Integrations- und Lebensführungsprobleme von Individuen zu bearbeiten.

Lines of Development of Occupational Social Work in German-Speaking Switzerland. Positioning and Legitimization in the Economic System

This article deals with the historical development of occupational social work in Switzerland up to the 1980s. On the one hand, the question is pursued as to how and for what reasons occupational social work came into being in Switzerland. On the other hand, it will be asked how occupational social work legitimised itself in different historical phases and how it claimed its area of responsibility. From a systemic point of view, social work ‘docks’ with differentiated primary functional systems in order to deal with the specific integration and life management problems of individuals that arise there.
